Bamboo Jamboo

Pilandok the Dreamer takes students on a magical journey to the tropical forest of Bamboo Jamboo as he shares folktales from India, the Philippines and other Asian cultures. Instruments such as the conch shell, rattle and bamboo flute are demonstrated during these interactive stories, where the audience participates in call-and-response, music, games and clapping.

Program Requirements: Can perform on any surface, but prefers stage. Needs 15' x 10' clean performance area. Students should sit on the floor w/ center aisle (do not use lunch tables as benches). Needs: lights on, clear sound system that can accept wireless mike (artist will provide), electrical outlet.
